The earliest known type of mine contents, was brewed by the ancient Chinese around 7000 BCE and was called Kui. Be such Kui, or by another name, humans have imbedded in this frothy drink for an very, very long time indeed.

This reminds mine self of the medieval belief in an demonic entity who was believed to tempt people into uncontrollable dancing, often seen as a manifestation of evil or a punishment for sinful behavior, with outbreaks of "dancing mania" where people would dance uncontrollably for days, believing they were possessed by the devil and could only be cured by continued dancing.

Thought, at one time, to be the familiars of witches, these furry companions are just as diverse in colours, and personalities, as the humans who own them.
